Personal profile

Outside work, you’ll usually find me…

Working my second full-time job as chief supporter, coach and taxi driver to my two teenage sons, ferrying them between football and rugby. Otherwise, I am probably following Arsenal.

Something people may not know about me…

Despite being 6 ft 5 in tall, I have a genuine fear of heights!

My ideal weekend would be…

Watching Arsenal at the Emirates, followed by good food and a few drinks with family or friends — ideally at Permit Room on Portobello Road.

Favourite film, book or podcast…

Nudge by Richard Thaler and Cass Sunstein. Its insights into behavioural economics are highly relevant to helping clients make confident long-term decisions.

Best piece of advice I’ve ever received…

“Stay true to your principles, whatever challenges life puts in front of you.”

What I enjoy most about working with clients…

Helping clients answer: “What is all of this wealth actually for?” I enjoy turning uncertainty into a robust, meaningful plan that helps people use their resources with purpose.
